LIST OF PLACES WHERE DOGS ARE ALLOWED & NOT ALLOWED

Don't confine your beloved furry companion to the house while you're out enjoying your weekend. SPOT has investigated various pet-friendly spots throughout the city where both you and your canine friend can engage in play and relaxation.

Prior to venturing out with your dog, ensure that all of his vaccinations are up to date. Additionally, assemble a travel kit that consists of essentials such as water, a portable water bowl, treats for your pup, waste bags (remember to always clean up after your dog), newspaper or rags for potential indoor accidents, a towel or mat to provide your dog a comfortable spot to rest while you dine (this also aids in containing crumbs and spills), and an extra leash (especially if your dog has a tendency to chew through leashes). And lastly, be certain to carry along his current vaccination card.

Secure him with a leash and ensure his dog tag is in place, and you're ready to go. (A helpful hint: Avoid taking your dog out during rainy or excessively hot weather. The pads on their paws are delicate, and walking on scorching pavement can cause considerable discomfort to your furry companion's feet.)

Regulations regarding where dogs are allowed or not allowed in the Philippines can vary from one place to another and are subject to change. It's important to note that regulations might have been updated since then, so it's advisable to verify the current rules and policies with local authorities or property owners before bringing your dog to any specific location. That being said, I can provide some general guidelines that were applicable at the time of my last update:

Places Where Dogs Are Typically Allowed:

1.Public Parks: Many public parks in the Philippines allow dogs, but they often require dogs to be on leashes and under control. Owners are also usually expected to clean up after their pets.

2.Dog Parks: Some cities have designated dog parks where dogs can socialize and play off-leash. These parks are designed to be safe spaces for dogs.

3.Pet-Friendly Establishments: Some cafes, restaurants, and even shopping centers might allow dogs in their outdoor areas. However, this can vary, so it's best to check with the establishment beforehand.

4.Beaches: Some beaches may allow dogs, especially in less crowded areas. Again, checking with local authorities is recommended.

Here are some examples of places who allow pets to get inside their premises. You can comment the places that you know that allow dogs and cats inside as guide to other readers. Just put the specific place and location. Tnx.

EASTWOOD CITY WALK

Eastwood City Walk stands out as potentially the city's inaugural shopping center that embraces pet-friendliness, extending a warm welcome to pets within the mall premises. A noteworthy highlight is the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf establishment. Not only do they grant access to your pet indoors (a fantastic perk during sweltering weather), but they also make the effort to acknowledge and greet your dog. For those who frequently visit with their furry companions, the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf staff even addresses your canine friend by name upon your arrival. Their remarkable pet-friendly attitude earned them the esteemed Golden Paw Award from PAWS in the year 2005.

EASTWOOD MALL

Tagged as the first pet-roomy mall in the Philippines where pets are allowed even inside the mall. Located just opposite, the more recent Eastwood Mall also extends a warm invitation to dogs. Simply ensure you obtain your Pet Pass from the concierge before exploring. The plaza boasts ample space for your canine companion to freely roam and engage in social interactions with fellow furry friends. If you're an owner of a larger dog, navigating between different floors is no cause for concern; you have the option to use either the elevator or the outdoor stairs. Practically all the dining establishments offer outdoor seating areas, and both My Thai and Starbucks provide tables arranged along the mall's air-conditioned pathways. Additionally, a selection of shops even permits entry to small dogs within their premises.

TIENDESITAS

(Aside from its mammal shopper-straightforward for its affordable prices and every one nice lay-out of stores, this shopping center located in Pasig City boasts of a Pet Village which houses harshly 50 pet shops, pet grooming centers and pet food and adding in the works stores. Here pets can stroll following their owners and are allowed anywhere without requiring carriers or strollers. So far afield away, Tiendesitas is the most pet-approachable in the middle of postscript malls and shopping centers.)

BONIFACIO HIGH STREET (BHS)

Another pet-agreeable shopping center located in Taguig City, pet owners will praise its loud door spaces and lush greenery that will make a clean breast their pets to freely roam and press in front, while shopping in their favorite stores and boutiques and dining in its chic restaurants. BHS provides an ideal environment for socializing your canine companion. During weekends, it's nearly impossible to take a few steps without encountering fellow dog owners. The establishment warmly embraces pets, to the extent that most patrons anticipate their presence, often pausing to exchange greetings and offer pets to your four-legged friend. The expansive green space nestled within the complex and the generously wide sidewalks add to the appeal. Hobbes and Landes, for instance, thoughtfully maintains a Dog Bar stocked with fresh water to quench the thirst of visiting pets. Additionally, their Petropolis section offers an array of goodies, from treats and collars to toys, grooming essentials, and premium dog food. Don't miss their café, a welcoming spot where you and your dog can relish quality time together, perhaps even indulging in a shared fro-yo as a delightful dessert.

SERENDRA

Mostly composed of high-subside restaurants and boutiques, Serendra (located just across Bonifacio High Street) has this park right in the center, which is good for hanging out subsequent to your pet. Stores and restaurants within the obscure even though have rotate policies upon allowing pets inside their establishments.

SM MALL OF ASIA

THE CLUBHOUSE, Corinthian Hills

Include your dog in your plans for a relaxing meal, whether it's brunch, lunch, merienda, or dinner. Head to the outdoor seating sections of UCC Cafe, Starbucks, or Grand Caffe Casanova. These spots offer an ideal setting for unwinding with your furry friend on a leisurely weekend.

BOW AND WOW, Shangri-la Mall

Pets are restricted from entering areas beyond Bow and Wow. Therefore, it's advisable to park your vehicle in the vicinity of the parking lot close to Crossings Department Store. From there, you'll have convenient access to an entrance situated adjacent to Bow and Wow.

Dedicated to catering to pet needs, this pet supply store specializes in sought-after premium dog food brands such as Orijen, Canidae, Taste of the Wild, and Merrick. They also offer a variety of other essential dog supplies. The store's staff comprises affable and well-informed individuals who share a genuine affection for dogs.

If you and your canine companion have grown weary from exploring shopping malls and desire a refreshing change, gather your picnic essentials, don your comfortable walking footwear, and embark on a journey to La Mesa Ecopark. Embark on the Petron Fitness and Mountain Bike Trail, where the ample tree cover provides shade, alleviating concerns about the sun's intensity. Should you find yourselves fatigued or hungry along the way, establish a cozy picnic spot at the Lopez Picnic Grounds. Here, you can indulge in grilling hotdogs and savor a leisurely and satisfying lunch.

HARBOR SQUARE- CCP

The Cultural Center of the Philippines and the adjacent attractions, such as Harbour Square, serve as perfect destinations for family gatherings and reconnecting. Naturally, leaving behind our beloved furry companions is out of the question, isn't it? You're welcome to bring them along, as long as you ensure proper waste disposal. It's crucial for everyone to maintain the cleanliness of the area. Feel free to partake in jogs and leisurely strolls to fulfill your exercise regimen. Then, revel in your weekends with cherished company, whether they have fur or not!
